SulmeyerKupetz, with offices in Los Angeles and Newport Beach, California was unanimously selected as counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of VER Technologies Holdco, LLC (VER). VER Technologies, in its Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization case, pending before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, is headquartered in Glendale, California. VER is one of the largest suppliers of rental production equipment and solutions in the world with operations in six continents. VER rents and provides support services for a broad variety of audio, video and lighting equipment, including among other things, microphones, monitors, speakers, cameras, lenses, automated lighting equipment, spotlights, special effects and LED technology. VER provides equipment to some of the world’s largest events, including the Super Bowl, Coachella, and various other sporting, music, and live events. VER asserts that it has more than $760 million in funded debt and over $1.2 billion of equipment.
As counsel to the Committee, SulmeyerKupetz, along with its co-counsel, Whiteford Taylor & Preston and financial advisors, Province, LLC, will represent the interests of unsecured creditors in the bankruptcy case and use its position to maximize the recovery for the creditors.
